A 6-day adventure to summit Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route, often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route.” This is the only route that provides hut accommodations, offering a more comfortable trekking experience. Known for being one of the easier routes to the summit, the Marangu Route attracts many climbers. The trail takes you through a variety of landscapes, ranging from lush rainforests to barren alpine deserts, before reaching the peak of Africa’s tallest mountain.

After breakfast, head to Marangu Gate for registration. Start your hike through the lush rainforest towards Mandara Hut. The trail is fairly gentle and provides stunning scenery along the way.
Continue climbing through the forest as the scenery transitions to moorland. Hike across the open heath, taking in the stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks on your way to Horombo Hut.
Continue ascending into the alpine desert as you make your way toward Kibo Hut. This day features a long, steady climb, offering breathtaking views of the summit. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, enjoy dinner and rest in preparation for the summit attempt.
Start your summit attempt around midnight, trekking through the darkness to reach Gilman’s Point by sunrise. Proceed to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your accomplishment, make your way back down to Horombo Hut for a well-earned rest.
Complete your descent to Marangu Gate, where you will be awarded your summit certificates. Afterward, return to Arusha to enjoy a well-deserved night of relaxation and celebrate your incredible achievement.
