We arrive in time for a delectable luncheon at the luxury tented lodge, and, with appetites sated, undertake our afternoon game drive in the Ndutu region. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, giraffe, over four hundred species of birds, and a plethora of other resident game. With our afternoon and early evening game drives drawing to a close, as the African night begins to cloak the ‘Endless Plain’ in her veil of shadow, we make for our carefully selected luxury tented lodge, where delectation, relaxation, and vivifying conversation invite our ease, by the fire upon the Serengeti, digestif perhaps in hand, as hyena slink by. Dinner and over night at Serengeti Heritage Ndutu.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Ndutu area. Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young are easy pickings for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.
